We are the Digging Dudes (Jeff, Will, and Aaron), a team of laidback, professional metal detectorists who are passionate about history. Our motto is “Bringing the past back to the future, one treasure at a time”. Treasure for us could be anything with a little story to tell. Whether it’s a spoon, horseshoe, pocket watch, ring, or coin; it may not have much monetary value, but it has a story.

It’s our privilege to help document and tell those stories because, if we didn’t, they would be lost to time forever.

We always follow a solid code of ethics when it comes to detecting. We never hunt designated archeological sites, but instead focus on private permissions from people just like YOU who simply want to know what kind of history is hidden on their land or working farm fields.

We seriously LOVE this hobby. Over the years, we have met some amazing land owners who are just as excited about what we find. We’ve been invited to many properties up and down the Ottawa Valley and Pontiac, Quebec area and are always looking to add to our list of adventure sites.

We also offer a recovery service for lost metal items.  We know how stressful losing things can be and are always willing to help someone in need.
